Mushfiqur Rahim's sixth 150-plus score helped Bangladesh into the lead in the second session on Day 4 of the first Test in Rawalpindi. After a century stand with Litton Das, Rahim (173*) was involved in an unbroken 163-run stand for the seventh wicket with Mehidy Hasan Miraz as Bangladesh reached 495/6 at Tea, leading by 47 runs. Having struck a flurry of boundaries leading into the Lunch break, Rahim continued positively in the second session, scoring regular fours. Mehidy was happy to play a defensive role in the stand, which crossed 100 when Rahim swept Agha Salman for his 17th four of the innings. The partnership grew steadily as Rahim and Mehidy helped Bangladesh into the lead and past the 450 mark. There were a couple of shouts but they were not given and Pakistan had already exhausted their reviews. Rahim also pulled one off Salman which landed short of square leg.
